KriaaNet was awarded a contract to modernize the communications infrastructure in Building 954 at Joint Base San Antonio–Lackland, supporting the U.S. Air Force’s efforts to enhance network reliability and meet current telecommunications standards.
Under this project, KriaaNet will remove outdated cabling systems and deploy a new structured network infrastructure designed to support modern IT and communications requirements within the facility. The effort includes installing over 500 new Category-6E network connections, deploying new network cabinets, and upgrading the building’s internal cable distribution systems.
The new infrastructure will be routed to the building’s primary telecommunications room and installed in accordance with Air Force and industry telecommunications standards, ensuring a secure and scalable network environment for facility users.
Once installation is complete, KriaaNet will conduct comprehensive testing and validation to ensure the infrastructure meets performance and reliability requirements before it is placed into service.
Through this project, KriaaNet continues to support Department of Defense infrastructure modernization initiatives, helping strengthen the reliability and long-term performance of mission-critical communications systems.
