KriaaNet secured an award valued at approximately $1 million to upgrade the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wi-Fi infrastructure at the AmeriCorps Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The project supports the agency’s efforts to modernize its internal network environment and improve connectivity, performance, and reliability for staff and mission operations.
Through this engagement, Team KriaaNet is implementing a comprehensive network upgrade designed to enhance wired and wireless connectivity throughout the headquarters facility. The modernization effort will strengthen the agency’s internal communications infrastructure and support the growing demand for secure, high-performance network access.
Enhancing Network Performance and Coverage
As part of the project, KriaaNet is upgrading key components of AmeriCorps’ network infrastructure to provide improved coverage, stronger performance, and a more reliable user experience. The effort includes improvements to both the wired LAN environment and the wireless network that supports staff mobility across the facility.
