KriaaNet was awarded a contract to modernize the local and long-distance telecommunications services supporting the Dobbins Air Reserve Base (ARB), Georgia. This initiative supports the Department of the Air Force’s ongoing efforts to upgrade legacy communications systems and strengthen operational connectivity across the installation.
Under this effort, Team KriaaNet, in partnership with AT&T, is transitioning the base’s legacy telephone infrastructure to a modern voice communications environment designed to improve reliability, resilience, and long-term sustainability. The project ensures that mission-critical voice services remain available to support the Dobbins ARB.
Supporting Reliable Base Communications
The modernization effort includes the transition of existing telephone services to a more advanced communications platform while maintaining uninterrupted connectivity for base personnel and mission operations. As part of the project, KriaaNet is supporting the porting and management of 10,000 telephone numbers, ensuring continuity of service while enabling improved performance and scalability for future communications needs.
The solution also supports over 150 simultaneous voice connections, ensuring that base personnel can maintain reliable communications during daily operations as well as mission-critical activities.
Delivering Seamless Transition and Ongoing Support
KriaaNet is working closely with Air Force stakeholders to implement the new system through a carefully planned installation and transition process. The project includes site surveys, phased deployment, and coordination with base communications personnel to ensure a smooth migration from the legacy infrastructure.
To support ongoing operations, Team KriaaNet provides 24/7 service monitoring and support, helping ensure that communications services remain available and responsive to the needs of the installation.
Strengthening Mission Readiness
By modernizing the telecommunications infrastructure at Dobbins ARB, KriaaNet is helping the Air Force maintain secure and dependable communications across the installation. The upgraded system improves operational reliability, supports emergency communications capabilities, and ensures that mission-critical voice services remain available to thousands of users across the base.
This award reflects KriaaNet’s continued commitment to supporting the Department of Defense with reliable communications solutions that enhance operational readiness and mission success.
