KriaaNet is proud to announce the award of a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) valued at $340,000,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This BPA supports the USDA Client Experience Center (CEC) in delivering standardized, secure, and modern laptop and notebook solutions across USDA agencies.
Under this BPA, KriaaNet will provide enterprise-grade laptop and notebook systems, enabling USDA to maintain a consistent, compatible, and modern IT infrastructure that supports mission-critical operations across the United States and global locations. The program is designed to ensure that USDA personnel, including those working directly with farmers, ranchers, and landowners, have reliable and secure computing platforms to support critical agricultural and conservation programs.
Supporting USDA’s Enterprise Digital Transformation
The BPA enables USDA to replace aging technology and deploy standardized computing platforms across agencies, ensuring improved performance, security, and operational efficiency. The contract supports the government’s broader initiative to transition from paper-based and labor-intensive operations to a digitally enabled, technology-driven environment.
Key Capabilities Delivered Under the BPA
Through this contract, KriaaNet will support:
- Enterprise laptop and notebook procurement across multiple standardized configurations
- Technology refresh cycles to ensure systems remain current as models reach end-of-life
- Secure computing environments aligned with federal cybersecurity standards
- Pre-configured and image-ready devices compatible with USDA enterprise system builds
- Deployment support to USDA locations across CONUS and OCONUS
- Next-business-day warranty support and lifecycle services
Enabling Secure and Standardized IT Infrastructure
The BPA requires systems to meet strict federal technology standards including:
- Windows enterprise operating environments
- Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0) security
- Secure boot and firmware protection aligned with NIST guidance
- Smart card authentication support for federal identity management
- Energy-efficient systems compliant with federal sustainability standards
Delivering Value Through Technology Refresh and Scalability
A key component of the BPA is continuous technology refresh, ensuring USDA agencies always have access to current hardware platforms. As systems approach end-of-life, newer models will be introduced without disruption to agency operations.
Strengthening KriaaNet’s Federal IT Portfolio
This award reinforces KriaaNet’s growing role as a trusted partner in federal IT modernization, enterprise infrastructure delivery, and secure technology deployment. The BPA enables KriaaNet to support the USDA’s mission by providing scalable, secure, and reliable computing solutions that empower federal employees and enhance service delivery nationwide.
